Water Mains are important when you use cloth diapers

I am so very glad that I had already done the diapers the day before the water mains in my neighborhood broke....3 of them!!!  As I understand it, two broke from the extra water from the rain...and the third one broke when they tested the first one to see if it was fixed.  Thank goodness for small miracles.  This was on Friday.  I have more appreciation for my washing machine now than I ever did.

UGH! Rachel, that sucks! You have had the journey -- the flushies clog your drains and then this! Lady, I am proud of you. I seriously mean that. On the days when the effort seems extra, remember that you are doing the right thing! Hugs! Hope your water is all fixed up soon.

Speaking of nothing, we're getting radiant heat in the LR and a tankless water heater to go with it -- and for a little more we're going to run the tankless through the whole house! woo hoo! More efficient, never run out of hot water, AND an extra closet (where the hot water heater is now)-- all good!

That's one of the reasons we keep 'sposies around...just in case. Thankfully, the water was back on later that evening, after we were all in bed. Too bad Tom had an explosive poop and he couldn't get a bath...had to use wipes and stuff instead.

Very jealous of the tankless water heater. We won't be staying in this house long enough to do everything we'd like, so we are getting the most important things done...like new windows, new HVAC, and redoing the landscaping so it's pretty.
