When do you get edible garlic ?

Not a clue Dad. I need to do a little bit of research...and they already need to be replanted. There are four in that pot. I wasn't expecting all four to start growing.
That's so cool. I think it takes a while to get a new head -- maybe 3-4 months???? Google it! Can you plant it outside? I have an order in for my fall starts at Peaceful Valley.
